I cherish my printed RPG materials– don’t you? But, sometimes I bring one over to a friend’s house, and despite my fondness, I forget my book. A bookplate helps it find its way home. If there are multiple copies of the same book at the table, these can help you tell them apart.
If you give somebody a book as a present, a bookplate can be a nice touch of customization. The file is color, but it’s also designed to look nice in black and white. Print the page out, cut them apart. Glue them on using a gluestick.
The motif is Lotus-and-Papyrus. The Blue Lotus is a symbol of relaxation and therefore prosperity. Papyrus is the symbol of diligence and learning. Together, they were the symbols of Lower and Upper Egypt. They’re also traditionally associated with libraries.
You can also print some out, cut them apart, and give them away as a little present. Include a glue stick; they’re not expensive.
